Shankha Foundation organised food distribution camps, ensuring that nutritious meals reached those who needed them most. Because no one should fight an invisible enemy on an empty stomach. Every meal was an act of love.
Mask Distribution
A small piece of cloth became one of the most powerful shields against the virus — yet thousands had no access to one. We distributed masks to thousands of people across communities, putting safety within reach of every hand. Simple? Perhaps. But in those uncertain times, a mask wasn't just protection — it was a message that said: you matter, and we care.
Blanket Distribution
Winter is unforgiving for those living on the streets or in fragile shelters. Every year, we ensure that the biting cold doesn't claim the lives of our most vulnerable. Through our blanket distribution drives, Shankha Foundation has wrapped warmth around countless families who have very little to call their own. Because surviving winter shouldn't be a privilege — it should be a right.
Study Essentials for Students
A child's potential should never be limited by the absence of a notebook or a pencil. We distribute study essentials — stationery, books, and learning supplies — to students from all backgrounds, ensuring that economic hardship doesn't silence a curious mind. Education is the greatest equaliser, and every student who receives our support carries forward the dream of a more empowered tomorrow.
Blood Donation Camps
One unit of blood can save up to three lives. Inspired by this simple truth, Shankha Foundation regularly organises blood donation camps, bringing together compassionate volunteers to give the most human gift of all — life itself. Our camps have built a growing community of donors who believe that the greatest strength lies not in what we hold, but in what we give.
Health Insurance Enrolment
Healthcare should never be a luxury. We have worked tirelessly to enrol underprivileged families as beneficiaries of health insurance schemes, providing coverage of up to ₹1 lakh — a financial safety net that can mean the difference between life and debt. Behind every policy enrolled is a family that can now walk into a hospital without fear of the bill that follows.
Tree Plantation Drives
Trees are close to our hearts — and we mean that literally. Shankha Foundation organises regular tree plantation programmes, especially ahead of the monsoon season, when the earth is most ready to receive new life. Every sapling we plant is a promise to future generations — that we walked this earth mindfully, and left it a little greener, a little more breathable, than we found it.
